This 9-day tour takes you through some of South India's most iconic cities, blending spirituality, history, and modernity. Your journey begins in Mumbai, where you'll experience the bustling metropolis and visit landmarks like the Gateway of India and Marine Drive. After a flight to Bangalore, explore the city's blend of historical sites, such as Vidhan Soudha, and its lush gardens like Lal Bagh. Continue to Puttaparthi, the spiritual birthplace of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, and visit sacred sites that attract devotees from around the world. Afterward, head to Mysore, known for its royal heritage, including the grand Mysore Palace and Jaganmohan Palace, before returning to Bangalore. From there, travel to Chennai, where you'll discover its vibrant culture, including the magnificent Kapaleeshwarar Temple and the tranquil Marina Beach. Finally, return to Mumbai for more sightseeing, including a visit to the historical Gateway of India, before your departure. This journey offers a comprehensive experience of South India's culture, spirituality, and rich history.

  • A small group size of a minimum of 4 people is required for any particular date and in case of fewer numbers on any particular date, we will give you the option of date change or still travel on the same date by paying a slight supplement.
  • Rates are based on using standard hotels offering 3-star facilities with the option of upgrading to superior and deluxe categories offering 4 star and 5-star facilities respectively at a slight supplement.

Itinerary

DAY 01 : ARRIVAL MUMBAI - MUMBAI - BANGALORE BY FLIGHT
Today on arrival at Mumbai, clear immigration formalities and come out from exit Gate and connect your next flight to Bangalore from the same terminal. Where our representative will assist you and transfer to hotel. (Check in time at hotel is 1400 Hrs.). Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 02 : BANGALORE - PUTTAPARTHI
After breakfast depart by surface to Puttaparthy and check-in at Hotel. Puttaparhty - India is known throughout the globe as the land of the occult and of spirituality. She has been the birthplace of several holy seers and prophets, and this is the cause for the religious consciousness of the people here. Puttaparthi (also Puttaparthy), in the southern flanks of the country, has given birth to one such prophet, Sri Satya Sai Baba. Innumerable devotees, from all over the globe flock to this small town every year to have a glimpse of the seer, and be touched by his divine presence. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 03 : PUTTAPARTHI - BANGALORE
After breakfast depart by surface to Bangalore, On arrival check-in at Hotel. Bangalore: Known as the garden city of India, Bangalore is one of the most visited destinations of southern India . There are many stories and legends related to the city. However, the present look of the garden city was given to it in the 16th century. Because of the initiative it took in the wake of the Information Technology revolution in the country, Bangalore has been nicknamed as the Silicon City of India. Bangalore is the capital of Karnataka state of India. Situated in southern India on the Deccan Plateau, at an altitude of about 900m 3,000ft above sea level, the city is acknowledged for its pleasant climate all over the year. Later city tour visiting the Vidhan Sudha the building is a massive neo-Dravidian architecture, Bull Temple, Bangalore Palace, with the drive from Lal Bagh which is famous for the wonderfully bloomed red roses. DAY 04 : BANGALORE - MYSORE (143 Kms and takes approx..2½ Hrs.)
After breakfast depart by surface to Mysore, On arrival check-in at Hotel. Majestically set at the foothills of Chamundi Hills, the city is home to seven palaces and as such is often referred to as the City of Palaces. Mysore Maharaja Palace is the most enthralling palace of the city. Full-day city tour covering Mysore Palace was constructed in Indo Saracenic style in 1912, which is one of the biggest in India; Mysore Palace also known as the Amba Vilas Palace. It holds historical significance and lists among the must watch places in Mysore. After this, head to Jaganmohan Palace and explore the paintings that date back to the late 19th century. Later on visit to St. Philomena's Church. It is one of the major churches in the country. Its Gothic style with beautiful stain glass windows and airy towers will take your heart away. Evening back to Bangalore and Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 05 : MYSORE - CHENNAI BY TRAIN
In time transfer to railway station to board train for Chennai, On arrival meeting and assistance by our representative, welcome and escort you by a private transport and then transfer to Hotel and assist with check in Hotel. Chennai - Capital of the south-eastern state of Tamil Nadu, Chennai is one of the four major metropolitan cities in India. Today, it is hard to believe that a place that was till 1639 just a small fishing village would become such an enormous and beautiful city. Situated on the shores of the Bay of Bengal, Chennai is perhaps the most peaceful and green metropolis in India. Chennai has a number of attractions for the tourists to see. One of them is the beautiful Marina beach, where the blue waters of the Bay of Bengal mingle with the golden sands. The city also has its share of forts and palaces reminding the tourists the glory of bygone eras. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 06 : CHENNAI
After breakfast city tour visiting, Kapaleeshwarar Temple: A masterpiece of Dravidian architecture, this ancient Shiva temple, is the biggest in Chennai. Fort St. George: Located on the seashore near the harbour, Fort St. George was built for the East India Co. in 1960 AD. Marina Beach: the pride of Chennai is the second longest beach in the World and has a wide sandy foreshore. Other attractions are Fort Museum and St. Mary's Church and Little Mount Shrine. DAY 07 : CHENNAI - MUMBAI BY FLIGHT
In time transfer to airport to board flight for Mumbai, On arrival meeting and assistance by our representative, welcome and escort you by a private transport and then transfer to Hotel and assist with check in Hotel. Mumbai formerly Bombay, is the capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra. As of 2009, Mumbai is the largest city in the world in terms of population, with the city proper having a population of approximately 14 million inhabitants, and along with the neighboring cities of Navi Mumbai and Thane, it forms an urban agglomeration with around 19 million people. DAY 08 : MUMBAI
After breakfast half day city tour once you are in Mumbai, the list of sites to visit is endless. And to add up to your excitement you have several sites to visit that could be teamed up as historical sites, contemporary wonders, archaeological sites, religious sites, and natural wonders. The Gateway of India is the main attraction of Mumbai city. Built to commemorate the visit of King George and Queen Mary to the Delhi Durbar in the year 1911, this massive historical monument makes a must visit during your Mumbai sightseeing. Moreover, there are sites like the Mani Bhawan or the Gandhi memorial, Marine Drive that give you the feeling of being in the commercial capital of India. The gardens like the Hanging Garden and the Kamla Nehru Garden will provide you the much-needed rest between your sightseeing trips and the Chowpatty gives you the view of one of the most happening beaches of Mumbai. What are Important Travel & Package Info

Exclusions

  • Return international flights, Visas, Insurance and items of personal nature.

Age restrictions

  • This visit is focused on guests aged 18 years or more seasoned For youngsters and child accompanied by the adults.

Tour occupancy

  • Minimum number for any tour date is 2 persons travelling together.
  • For solo travellers a single occupancy room is allocated.

Passport and Visa Requirements

  • All guests require a visa with a minimum validity of 6 months which should be beyond your return travel date is required for all passengers.
  • All Guests need visa and same should be applied in advance, do contact us for any assistance you may need.
  • It is the visitors responsibility to ensure they are holding the correct and current visa for the countries they are visiting.
  • Important: We suggest to arrange your visa at least 2-8 weeks prior to departure just incase for any delays due to consulate operating hours and processing times.

Travel Insurance

Health & vaccination

  • Travellers are advised to check with their local health professional at least 45 days prior to departure, as some vaccinations require 30 days or more to be effective.

Dietary Requirements

  • Any dietary necessities should be received by Special Holiday at least 7 days prior your scheduled departure date. Failure to provide these details by this date may result in an inability to cater for your requirements.
  • By and large Special Holiday tries to cater for your pre booked dietary requirements but please note that on occasion, this may not be possible due to location, lack of availability of ingredients, and other extenuating circumstances. It is always advised to carry supplies with you.

  • All airport and hotel transfers are included in the tour from the day of your arrival as per the package.

  • In the event that your trip is unavailable for the dates you have chosen we will contact you by telephone to advise the next available dates.

Surcharges

  • Any prices quoted exclude specific costs/measures which may be introduced at a later stage as a result of Government changes due to COVID-19 health and safety restrictions. Special Holiday will inform its guests of these changes as soon as possible, these additional charges will be passed on by Special Holiday to the guest.

Name change or corrections

  • Name corrections or corrections may incur a fee.
  • After bookings are fully paid, any amendment has to be requested in writing and may incur a fee per person plus any additional costs and administrative expenses incurred in arranging the amendment.
